The Batur Natural Hot Spring site, which describes itself as the spring's official website, lists three private 4WD sunrise packages for 2 persons: sunrise at IDR 1,350,000, sunrise with Black Lava at IDR 1,550,000 and sunrise with Black Lava and Black Sand at IDR 1,750,000.1 Those are rupiah prices as the operator publishes them. We have not converted them, and they apply to that operator's own tours, not to our listing.
Its packages include a driver for pickup and drop-off, the entrance ticket to the Mount Batur area, government fees and a summit breakfast of a sandwich and a boiled egg.7 The tour is described as 100% private, with an English-speaking guide and driver.8 Setting that list beside our listing is useful mostly as a sense of scale, since the two are sold in different currencies and on different terms.
